So this week we were supposed to incorporate scrolling text and a little animation into our intro project. I actually got super hype and spent a long time playing with the programming software and also tried the phone app programming too. personally i prefer the computer for the coding but the phone works really well if its needed. I created a few different animations and themes for my micro bit but i decided on the one i like to call "diving board". Upon turning on the micro bit "DIVING BOARD" scrolls across the screen, after that is a little dot or our diver who jumps of the diving board. The diver is shown falling, a clock pops up and the arms make a full rotation before the words "1 DAY LATER" scrolls across the screen. The diver is seen falling again and then a square representing the pool with a dot in the middle representing the diver allows the viewer to see the end of the fall, which ends with a splash type animation. The whole video is played on a loop. If you push button A, the viewer finds out the diver is a "3 time gold medalist" and when you push B it shows the divers name and home "SWIM DIVINGTON (LI)".The hardest part was adjusting the timing so the animation wouldn't just happen at one time and so that the animation could be more recognizable. I had also attempted to add a shake feature that showed a scene of an earthquake however I had an issue getting the whole shake animation to play without being interrupted by the forever looped animation. Overall, i discovered and learned a lot about the basic features of the micro bit.
