Soooo I was successful in getting almost every component in my musical jewelry box working. While i was working on this project i realized that although i had one idea and way i wanted this box to look i also had to adapt and roll with the punches. For example I wanted to wire all the components to the bottom of the box but when i became aware i didn't have the materials i changed my layout so all my components are wired at the top. Wiring and building was the unexpected hard of this project whereas i thought it would be the code. I wired a photocell, potentiometer, speaker and 5 LED lights using female/male jumper wires. the wiring itself was easy but fitting the wires into about a 4x4 box was a challenge. I rolled the wires up for the LEDs and taped them together using electrical tape. The wiring was messy but functional however i would definitely do that differently going forward. Building the little box that housed the components was fairly simple however it added weight that had to be countered with the weight of marbles that i put in the bottom of the box and then added a false bottom made from cardboard, filled with cotton and covered with fabric to appeal the the jewelry box aspect. The code for my project was long and tedious but that was all due to my ambition. I created a different light pattern for every note in the song which i also coded and timed out. The code is long but quite simple, i also used functions which we didn't learn about in class but basically it calls upon a series of code to be carried out. I was unable to finish/start the code to adjust the photocell to turn off when above a value of 3 and I was also unable to make the song cut off as soon as the knob was under 256. Overall I would say my project was a success story, and a really helpful learning experience.

So for my final project i wanted to stick to the music theme i had in my midterm project. I wanted to create a game much like the app...
